Stolen shamelessly from jennytork

1. Respond with something random about you.
2. Tell you which color you remind me of.
3. Tell you my first memory of you.
4. Tell you what animal you remind me of.
5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you.
6. Tell you my favorite thing about you.
7. Tell you my least favorite thing about you.
8. Challenge you to post this on your journal.

Doesn't surprise me. :P

1. Not really all that random, but I LOVE your stories! :D
2. Purple.
3. Hmm... I think it was reading the first chapter of "Darkened Moon" back in 2007, and asking you where the rest was.
4. A dog - so friendly all the time. :D
5. Where do you come up with all these great original ideas for different stories?
6. Your Who stories. Any type will do. :)
7. That I have no idea what you look like.
8. Kind of redundant, seeing as I got this from you. :P

I'm the one in the glasses and the rainbow striped shirt. My husband is in the yellow shirt behind me.

Whoa - you totally look different than I had pictured. But at the same time, it's not all that different. (If that makes any sense whatsoever.)

As for where do I come up with the ideas? I have an overly developed "What If?" metre.

Makes sense - btw, do you have any tips as to how to keep self-instertion/stories with an OFC non-Mary Sue?

I've tried in the past, and mine just look schmaltzy, so I've stopped writing them. But I know it is possible to have a good story with OFCs in it. Any help? :D

Write people. Don't make her the centre of attention or try to make the story from her POV. Do not make any characters romantically involved with her unless they're peripheral. Keep her flawed and human.

And be aware that for some peole, any original character is automatically "Mary Sue". Keep her human, warts and all, and you'll find things will take care of themselves.
