I Am Clever

A Fine Line - Between Chaos and Creation

Everybody seems to think I'm lazy; I don't mind, I think they're crazy...

NaBloPoMo - Day Six
Where's Edge
Or more technically, 'NIGHT' Six.

I know I'm pushing it awfully close to the deadline for today, but I didn't have any opportunity to post earlier. :S

Anyway, on with today's post.

I've been thinking about the rain recently, what with all the messed-up weather we've been having lately.

There are so many different things I've heard quoted about the rain, such as:

"I like walking in the rain - it hides the fact that I'm crying."

"When it rains, it means that God is crying."

"The best thing one can do when it's raining is to let it rain."

"A poet is someone who stands outside in the rain hoping to be struck by lightning."

And my favourite, as pessimistic as it may sound: "It never rains but it pours."

Anyway, the reasoning behind all of this is that I never realized until now how much I truly **** the rain. I might complain about it, but living where I am, you kind of get used to it. I actually don't think I'd like living somewhere that has a much drier climate. I like the damp, in a sense. Don't know why I never realized it before...

Btw, today was National Saxophone Day!! (And also Marooned Without A Compass Day!!) Enjoy being lost with your saxophone for the next eighteen minutes... XD

Remember, saxophone isn't just an instrument - it's a way of life. Aw yeah. ;D
