A Fine Line - Between Chaos and Creation

Everybody seems to think I'm lazy; I don't mind, I think they're crazy...

Wednesday, Week 4 - Music Listography, Take 17
Driver Picks the Music

Last of the chronological Listographies right here, and the shortest playlist to date, clocking in at only 87 songs (narrowed down from 700+; a lot of classical/Christmas/remastered albums seem to have been released in the 90s, according to iTunes). Apparently I'm not a big fan of 90s music...

List Your Favourite Songs From The 90s

1. Blue Sky Mine - Midnight Oil
2. Numb - U2
3. What Is Love - Haddaway
4. Sunday Sunday - Blur
5. Real Love - The Beatles
6. Even Better Than The Real Thing - U2
7. Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
8. Unbelievable - EMF
9. Every Heartbeat - Amy Grant
10. Poison - Bell Biv DeVoe
11. Sandstorm - Darude
12. All 4 Love - Color Me Badd
13. One Week - Barenaked Ladies
14. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air - DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince
15. All Star - Smash Mouth
16. The Sign - Ace of Base
17. Blue (Da Ba Dee) - Eiffel 65
18. Save Tonight - Eagle Eye Cherry
19. I Want You - Savage Garden
20. Tubthumping - Chumbawamba
21. You’ve Got A Friend In Me - Randy Newman (Toy Story soundtrack)
22. The Happy Happy Birthday Song - Arrogant Worms
23. Discotheque - U2
24. When I Come Around - Green Day
25. I Want It That Way - Backstreet Boys

It wasn't as hard to pick songs for this playlist... it was just hard to keep it balanced and not just make it a serenade to one artist *cough*U2*cough*. As it is, the reason U2's on there only three times is I narrowed it down to one song per album. And yes, BSB are on there. Shush; it's my guilty pleasure song.

Fanfic Thursday tomorrow! I need to work on more of my ideas and finish my half-finished works instead of coming up with new ones... whoops.

Some good ones in here! And a few that I don't think I recognise. *heads to YouTube*

Unusual to see "Sunday Sunday" listed as a favourite Blur song.

I've never actually heard anything else by Blur; I just happened to come across that one randomly on YouTube as it was used in another video.

Hopefully you enjoyed some of those non-recognized ones; I'm curious as to which ones you're referring to, though... (Both the good ones and the unknowns)

Blur are worth investigating. As to the ones I didn't recognise - I wasn't aware of having heard of Haddaway, but of course, once I looked it up on YT, I knew the song. Similarly the one by Color Me Badd. Not one that I know well, that, but it struck a chord in some distant recess! Midnight Oil to the best of my memory only had the one hit over here ("Beds Are Burning"), although of course I may be wrong. Bell Biv DeVoe I don't think I've ever heard of!

Good ones... fond of EMF, and certainly that one song by Chumbawumba, although the band themselves never appealed. Eagle Eye Cherry and Green Day are usually worth listening to as well. And I'd forgotten all about that Savage Garden track! I looked it up to see if it rang a bell, and thought "Oh yes, I used to quite like that!" Funny how that can happen.
