Tonight was the last training night for cadets before the winter break, and it was Screw-Up Parade. This entails normalcy for the junior cadets, but all the senior cadets/officers dress up in crazy outfits just for lolz. Anyway, I had decided to dress as a cadet for the evening. I figured, I pass for 16/17 anyway, so why not go for it?
And go for it I did. QPO1 Smith made a comeback; someone who hasn't been seen since 2008, when they phased out the rank.

Pretty sure I broke a cadet's brain at the beginning of the night, too. It was hilarious seeing him so confused at seeing me in that getup, falling in with the rest of the cadets.
I even dragged my tenor sax along with me and played in the band in place of the lead trumpet. Had my CO joke at the end of the night that he should keep me there as a cadet, as he needs good players. :P
Here's hoping I look 17 as long as possible. It's funny now, but it'll be a great benefit later in life.
