Day Thirty-Four (Aka: The Crabtree Chronicles)
I Am Clever

Today was SuperBowl Sunday, and it was definitely a memorable one. Myself, other members of my family, and some people from church all went to Tim's house to watch it on his fancy-schmancy TV.

Now, I don't mind/kinda like watching football, but I don't follow it professionally or anything.  So I therefore am familiar with next to none of the players.  However, my brother pointed out one player on San Fran's team with the same jersey number as he wore this past season (15) - a Mr. Michael Crabtree.  Because of his distinctive last name, I decided that he was therefore the person to laud/mock/browbeat for the remainder of the game (Best part is, I got other people doing it, too):

SF does something good: "YEAHHH! GOOD OL' CRABTREE!"

SF screws up/Baltimore does something good: "NOOOOO....CRABTREE! GET IT TOGETHER!"

Repeated screwing up/opponents doing well: "GO HOME CRABTREE YOU ARE DRUNK"

It was also determined that Crabtree plays every position on the field, so regardless of whether he was playing or not at the time... it's due to him/his fault. :P

Side note: All the tweets/FB posts/graphics I saw during the blackout were some of the funniest things I've seen recently.  Best one, though, was this one:

"Plot twist - Beyoncé wins the Superbowl."

Enjoy your night - I know I did. :)
